This recall involves 1023E, 1025R and 2025R Compact Utility Tractors with the model number and "John Deere" printed on the hood. The recalled tractors are green and yellow, and were sold with both opened and closed operator stations. The serial numbers of tractors included in this recall can be found at www.deere.com. The serial number is located on the frame, on the front right side of the tractor, near the engine.

I do regular maintenance on my LA105 mower purchased in August 2010. I mow my lawn weekly 7-8 months of the year. It has low hours and I don't have any hills, etc. I keep it in my garage and it looks new. Driving it this week, it simply stopped with no sign of having any issues. I take it into the JD store for maintenance and they tell me my engine has locked up and just a new engine will cost $60

I bought a 2010 leftover brand new 225z zero turn mower in 2012 or 13. I was mowing yesterday when no symptoms whatsoever. The mower began to lose engine power and then died. Then I experienced that the engine locked up. The engine oil level was fine. What could have caused this.

Bought the John Deere mower in 2010. It stopped running after 30 hrs of use. I bought it at Home Depot. I took it to Maple Mountain Service where it was kept for 1 month, returned and worked for 30 min. then stopped. Back to MM for repair for 3 weeks, it came back and still worked for 1 cut then dies. I took it back again to MM and they couldn't find problem, returned mower stating it worked fine.
